Project with Students
Step 1: Research
- Students each research a topic and share what they learned in small group presentations, taking notes about the other groups information
Step 2: Pre-Filming
- Each student completes the job that they have selected (Writer, Artist, etc...)
Step 3: Rehearsal
- Students practice their film (Narrator is reading text and students are animating the video using the props they have created)
Step 4: Filming
- Students film their videos in a quiet space
Step 5: Editing and Activities
-1 Student creates the video in iMovie while the others create other activities related to the topic for their presentations.
Step 6: Small Group Presentations
- Each student presents the group's video that has been posted onto their blog as well as the activities they created. The audience fills out the handout/quiz that the group created to go along with their video.
Step 7: Reflection
- Students write a reflection and summary about the project onto their blog.
